Angela is a 20-something paralegal, perpetually cynical and anxious due to being abandoned by her mother as a child. Frustrated with work and her marriage, she copes by drinking, smoking and using medication.
Laz is the simultaneously arrogant and insecure husband of Angela. Unable to contribute financially to the marriage and being, less than dedicated to Angela, Mark stumbles through life focused on excuses.
Traci Newman as Sharon is happily married to Mark (Dean Cain) and Angela's best friend who happens to be an attorney. She is always there for Angela as the supportive yet slightly superior friend.
Dean plays Mark, a happily married and successful attorney. He is the husband of Angela's best friend. Tall, Dark and smug, he is always willing to lend a hand and remind you that he is perfect.
Emre plays Mr. Epps, a sleazy high-power attorney. A narcissist, sexual deviant and sadist. As Angela’s boss he regularly uses her as his personal punching bag calling on her to clean up his messes.
Paul Sorvino plays the role of Papa Paulie, who is the wise and lovable restaurant owner. Nearing the tail end of his personal journey he helps Angela see the living and loving is the meaning of existence.
Dee Dee Sorvino takes on the role of the wife of Paul Amato in this film, they co-own the diner together. Although we don't see her very long, she is the one who brings Paul and Angela together.
Dean plays Father Matthew, who is there for Angela at a young age. While Angela is getting abused by the Mother Superior, he bravely steps in. Angela confides in him through the years in times of need.
Tiffini H. Gothard takes on the role of Mother Theresa, the first villain in the film, who exemplifies the rotten side of Catholic power gone wrong. She is abusive, loud, and outright scary, embodying a fearsome presence.
Kaia plays "Young Angela", revealing Angela's childhood traumas mixed with her strong personality. Even as a young girl, "Angela" realizes she needs to stand up for herself.
Grace is a resilient young girl with Down syndrome, has bravely undergone open-heart surgery and emerged healthy. In The Ride, she plays the kid on the playground that talks back to Mother Superior.
Troy Williams plays the role of the funny cook. He was originally cast to be the restaurant owner but when Paul decided to come we made a quick change and got him a part. It worked out well.
Paul plays the lead detective to solving the hit and run case, he is a seasoned actor who actually prefers to play the villian but you can't tell here as he plays a clean cut professional perfectly.
Angela plays Detective Cadence Warren, is a good sidekick for Detective Mince. She supports him not only in solving cases but also by joining in and encouraging his quirky jokes.
Born in Jacksonville, FL in 2019. Mira is a very talented child actor as she already has had several commercials and films experiences. She plays baby Grace and Angela.
Ozlem is a dual Turkish/American citizen, a certified Professional Solution Focus Coach and NLP Practitioner. In The Ride, she plays the mother in the beginning who leaves baby Angela at the church.
Ava is an actress known for her roles in "The Day We Met" (2023) and "Walk in the Park" (2023). In "The Ride," she portrays a young girl in school, bringing depth and authenticity to her character.
Conner, born in Lancaster SC in 2010, is a 13-year-old honors student and inspiring actor. He stars in "Henry," "Blue Dream," and "Fate Alchemy." His father and uncle are industry professionals. He plays JV high school sports.
